1. Purpose: Bluestate Media is committed to providing a safe, respectful, and inclusive workplace free from sexual harassment, discrimination, and misconduct. This POSH Policy defines our commitment to prevent and address complaints of sexual harassment in alignment with Indian law and international workplace ethics.
2. Scope: This policy is applicable to:All employees (full-time, part-time, contractual, interns)Remote, hybrid, and on-site team membersAny person present at the workplace, including clients, vendors, consultants, or visitorsAll work-related events, including virtual meetings, off-site projects, and company outings
3. Definition of Sexual HarassmentAs per Section 2(n) of the POSH Act, sexual harassment includes, but is not limited to:Unwelcome physical contact and advancesDemand or request for sexual favoursMaking sexually coloured remarksShowing pornographyAny other unwelcome verbal, physical, or non-verbal conduct of a sexual natureSexual harassment may be physical, verbal, written, graphic, or electronic, including inappropriate comments on chat, video calls, or emails.
4. 7. False ComplaintsWhile the Company supports genuine complainants, malicious or intentionally false complaints will also be subject to disciplinary action, as per Section 14 of the Act.
